Arrowhead House
Arrowhead House occupies a steep, wooded hillside in west Austin, overlooking the valleys of the Colorado River and Bull Creek toward downtown eight miles to the southeast. Its faceted triangular plan is generated by the street alignment and protected view corridors. Elevated on slender columns above the tree canopy, the house maximizes long-range views while minimizing its footprint within the flood-prone karst landscape of the Texas Hill Country.
