A nod to Moorish architecture, this residential project reflects life in a harsh desert climate. North African design philosophy is present throughout the home, including water features and Mashrabiya privacy screens adapted as balcony railings and façade. The interior, including the floors, was painted a calming white. East 8th is an oasis in a bustling city.
